This place is bustling during peak lunch hours! I would suggest coming on the early or later side of lunch (11ish, 2ish) to avoid indoor seat shortage. I had a really tough time deciding what to get but eventually picked the Duck Confit Sandwich, iced tea, & red velvet cookie from Xtreme Desserts. The sandwich was complex b/c the duck was superbly paired w/ jam. The iced tea was refreshing & the cookie satisfied my sweet tooth. It's not expensive but not cheap given the quality of the ingredients. I'll be back to try the other sandwiches & salads!

Very relaxed, fun atmosphere. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, but slow. Food is fantastic and unique.

Home to one of Los Angeles's best sandwiches (duck confit). It is busy but cheerful and the only problem is choosing what to order.

the valley "go-to" for cheese. a very knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you sort out what you like and what to try, but be prepared to wait a while as they indulge every customer and savor the experience of shopping for cheeses. check it out during the week at lunch for great sandwiches too. also, stop in on sundays after the laurel canyon farmer's market for the new shipment of burrata

I will NEVER use this store again! Went shopping for cheese on a Saturday Afternoon. The woman serving was slow and clueless. Took her 20 minutes to cut 2 cheese and then she had picked the wrong cheese (go figure!) Behind us in line was a semi famous actress who got served before us so we spent 25 minutes in there to get passed over for someone else. If you want a lousy attitude, bad service and preferential treatment of famous people...THIS is the store for you

Great salads and sandwiches. There's not much room for eating there, but the food is good and very interesting. They also have a great selection of cheeses, peanut butters, and novelty foods! Yummy!
