Peruse Vintage Photographs of NYC With Your Morning Coffee:What may well be the BEST collection of NYC photos ...ever!My bud ( though I almost never see him anymore....) +RC Concepcion posted a really rad aerial shot of downtown NYC's Battery Park. And it brought back memories. Then it reminded me that a reader of my blog had emailed me asking where Id taken a photo of a girl getting out of a Rolls Royce. I knew it was in Harlem, But I couldn't remember for the life of me where. I called the stylist.. he was stuck too. So, while waiting for the info to come in...I started to search round for it on Google Image search and Pinterest. I stumbled upon what may be the BEST collection of NYC photos I've ever seen in my life.It chronicles NY as it grew from 1490! Through to 1985. Tens of thousands of images. Stunning!
And I'm not exaggerating. It is basically a carefully curated collection of images taken from the recently publically released collection of images at New York's Department of Records. The curation is done by +Fine Print NYC
. They are a printing service in NYC founded in 2004, Nike was their first client...and it seems everything they touch turns to gold! Their blog is one of the finest curations of art you can hope to enjoy. ( Definitely want to add this one to your +Flipboard
's and your +feedly

They still have the machine on display! The ceiling fan in the place...was in the movie Casablanca! This place is why youll hear me groan if you suggest Starbucks...hahah ( Im teasing.. take me to DnD for coffee and Im happy! )Here are a few snips of photos...
