My English students in Germany will tell you that the phrase, "Band of Brothers" is to be found for the first time in Shakepeare's Henry V speech at the battle of Agincourt. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he ...

Christmas News Letter 2015
As I look back at 2015 I can say that it has been a wonderful year for me. The start was full of pathos and grief which I left at the foot of the Cruz de Ferro on the Camino in Spain. Thereafter it was fun and laughter shared with great friends, new and old...

In the New World!
We have come to the New World with our BBF to visit his friends in Milford and Canada. The flight over was as tedious as all long distance flights, and being stuffed inside his rucksack we did not see anything! To our delight we found a new friend in our ro...

Some Post Camino thoughts!
It is one year to the day, that Hanna died. (30 July 2014) You cannot wipe out 25 years, three months and six days of relationship in the twinkling of an eye, but the Camino has taken my grief and mourning away. You could also say that I had laid my grief a...

Story
Introduction
Since birth I've been a gypsy, never living in one place for long. Spent almost 5 years sailing mainly alone around the world in my 14 meter steel ketch.
Bragging rights
Having sold the yacht I sailed around the world on I can devote much of my spare time to my new hobby which is photography.
