Love Potomac Mills, T-Mobile is awful, I wanted to check out T-Mobile because a friend referred me. Keep in mind I was an AT&T customer at the time. So I went to the website and signed up my old AT&T phone and ported my number. It took about 7 days to get my number ported from AT&T and to receive my sim card in the mail. All in all I spent about 24 hrs without a phone, not too bad. I called T-Mobile to see about refunding my early termination fee from AT&T, which was part of the promo they were running, they informed me that because it had been over 7 days they would not refund the fee, I was pretty mad but thought maybe I could go in the store and get something done, I wanted to stay with T-Mobile but I wanted to get the deal that I thought I was getting. The folks at the Potomac Mills T-Mobile store, they told me they could not. So I re-ported my number back to AT&T and therefore cancelled T-Mobile. About 30 days later I received a bill for a full months use. I called T-Mobile again and found out that because I had gone one day into a new billing cycle and then ported out my number they could charge me a full month. I said that I was willing to pay for the day I had used but not the full month, T-Mobile said they could take half, (about $35.00). I asked for a supervisor, Ismana (a supervisor at T-Mobile call center) came online and told me there was nothing she cold do. It was a policy and that was that. (History time! back about 10 years ago or so the FCC mandated that all mobile companies allow customers to carry their number from carrier to carrier, phone companies don't do it because they are nice, they do it because it's the law) I brought my own phone, and ordered my Sim card over the website, which cost $10.00, T-Mobile was out nothing, they got their fees from me and now they want me to pay for 29 days extra? Now me paying $66.34 for one day of service (1 txt message and 42kb of data) is stupid. T-Mobile simply feels that this is fair. Ismana told me that a supervisor would call me on monday to talk about what T-Mobile can do for me…. we will see.

I try to avoid coming here due to the fact that they don't allow firearms. I will not spend my time or money in a place that restricts my ability to protect my wife or my self especially with how "ghetto" most of the people who hang out there tend to act

They've revamped their stores several times and their experience is getting better, except for a couple of issues. If you're later than 11:00, you'd hope to find close by parking or you'll need Valet or walk a half mile. There's three restaurants built in front of the store, but I find that a bad idea as it increases congestion. They removed 30+ parking spaces for the new restaurants. The only other bad side is AMC Theatres. They're experience with movie convenience sucks. Dry popcorn. Yuck. Other than that a great mall to visit.
