Happy Walking the Dog Day! Your dog will appreciate a daily walk of at least 30 minutes, and it's great for you, too. Tip: Have a dog that pulls? Try a front clip harness. The leash clips to the harness at your dog's chest which can greatly reduce pulling on the leash.

February is Spay/Neuter Awareness Month! Have you ever noticed a small notch in the ear tip of a feral cat? This is a sign that the cat has been sterilized. The ear tipping is done under anesthesia at the same time the cat is spayed or neutered. This eliminates repeated trappings as it can be seen from a distance that the cat has already been altered.
