Did some minor surgery last night. Replaced my 500GB spinning drive with a 500GB solid state drive in my Nvidia Shield TV Pro. Thank goodness I'm not a surgeon - people would have computer parts in them...

The drive was failing. Took 5 minutes to boot up. Pixelation on thumbnails and would take a long time to clear up. Apps would crash constantly and it was very VERY sluggish.

Working great now though!

This.
I can unlock my +OnePlus 5 within 0.2s using the fingerprint reader while my wrist is still starting the motion toward my face.

Nobody wants to look directly into the screen to unlock. Can confirm based on Windows Hello and Samsung phone usage.

Windows Hello's IR cameras are cool, but you need to position your face in a certain invisible box, at a certain distance.

+G Suite - The new Hangouts Meet needs a lot of work to put it lightly.

Audio Quality
Audio quality is very poor and this is by far the most important. You can deal with poor video in a meeting, but poor audio will have the meeting come to a screeching halt. We get choppy and muffled audio from users all the time. Legacy Hangouts works fine and is crystal clear on the same devices and connections.

Video Quality
Video quality is also very poor. Heavily pixelated and rarely ever an HD picture. Again, Legacy Hangouts works fine and is crystal clear video on almost everyone from the same devices and connections.

User Experience
-The movement of the thumbnails from the bottom to the side might be good for 2-3 people, but not anything more than that. It cuts everyone off. (see image) It was better and more functional on the bottom.

-The video thumbnails are waaaay to small.

-The thumbnail list is not scrollable if it goes beyond the screen

-Expanding the thumbnails makes the thumbnails even SMALLER and cuts off long display names. Hovering shows no tooltip when a Name tooltip should appear.

-Muting a user requires you to click the smallest little corner of the already small thumbnail. It was much easier in the pop-up menu in Legacy Hangouts

-You can't eject a user easily

Where it misses the mark completely
-You can't dial out to a phone anymore. Google Voice offers free outbound calls. Gmail offers free outbound calls. Google Home now even offers free outbound calls. Hangouts DID have this feature and, though somewhat hidden, worked great. Removing this functionality really hurts us using this in the business and really has me scratching my head since it is in so many other Google products.

-Only one user can share their screen at a time. This is a big hassle when you are in a working meeting and multiple people are working on different things an need to share their screen at the same time. Needing to 'hand it off' every time you need to make a point on something you are working on is very counter productive.

UPDATE: +Thomas Tenkely talked to the manufacturer of the Polaroid speaker and they confirmed it does not support Google Cast, even though it advertises as such. Sad. It was a good sounding wifi speaker, just wish I could cast to it. Since I can't I'm returning it :-/
-------------
Anyone else have this speaker? Polaroid PWFSK2000SL - It's advertised as Cast enabled, but I can't get it to work. Wifi music streaming works via the Polaroid app, AirPlay works, Bluetooth works, but there is no option to set it up in the Home app or anywhere else...

Holy Crap! When did this happen?

You now have a toggle for G Suite to filter the stream to show all internal company content or not.

Very nice!
