+Debora Harley missed watching the H vids. Where else can I find?

Just got a ZTE-made, AT&T-branded tablet (Trek 2). Nice budget LTE device that is near stock. I'm liking it. However, there is one annoying tweak. It is a long-press to unlock rather than a swipe. Is there a way to adjust/replace this without rooting?

Sports stadiums and other large venues have thousands of displays providing content to visitors from every imaginable angle. For the environment to feel truly immersive and enjoyable, these displays should always be online and working. How do you monitor them to make sure they are working properly?

That moment when +Jonathan Roszkowski closes comments on a post and misses the critical point that the device he picked won't stream the service he wants, but there is now no way to tell him...

This was interesting, but not sure I agree with it. Thoughts anyone? Have you noticed distinct design differences in US vs. UK graphic design styles? Were they the same as in this slideshare? Let me know in the comments.

Would appreciate your thoughts on my most recent post. Am I being to hard on this product? Is there a good use case I'm missing? Does use it even matter (that is, will people buy it anyway, and so does it matter if it is a useful product)?
Weird Products/Good Design: Why You Shouldn’t Egg-nore the Customer Problem
I've been looking at some weird things you can find on Amazon, examining why they're weird, and drawing some conclusions about what makes for good product design. In today's post, I looked at this weird breakfast sandwich maker thing. Come check it out, and let me know if you agree with my conclusions.

Have an AT&T Note 4 with a number of pre-installed apps. In lieu of rooting and uninstalling completely, I am uninstalling updates and disabling the things I don't want (like all the AT&T apps). When I do that, should I clear the data before I uninstall updates? If I don't, will it leave data on my phone, or will uninstalling updates clear all the data? Just trying to leave as small a footprint as I can. Thanks!
