Absolutely fascinating (and I guess not surprising).

Researchers studying how we retain information say that if we think we can Google a fact, we are less likely to retain that fact because we know we can find it later. http://rww.to/OlldNp

Wow!

Amazing Langkawi Sky Bridge
Langkawi Sky Bridge is a 125 metres (410 ft) curved pedestrian cable-stayed bridge in Malaysia. It is located 700 metres (2,300 ft) above sea level at the peak of Gunung Mat Chinchang on Pulau Langkawi, an island in the Langkawi archipelago in Kedah. The last scene of Indian movie Don: The Chase Begins Again was filmed here. The Langkawi Sky Bridge is accessible by the Langkawi Cable Car.

Popped in while in town visiting Chicago to have acrylic in-fills done. The lady begrudgingly came down to do them and proceeded to do them so quickly, that the quality is really quite shoddy. Almost as soon as she started, she accidentally caught my finger on the electric nail file when shortening my nails. It made me yell "ouch" and jolt my finger away. She then denied that it had touched my finger and instead started to have a go at me, telling me how she's done this for 20 years and knows what she's doing. I've never experienced such rude service. A file catching a finger happens sometimes, I accept that, and so long as they apologise and are careful thereafter I'm cool with it. But she just outright argued that it didn't even happen and basically called me a liar. After putting the acrylic on, she then spent so little time evening the surface out, that even just two days later I can start to see edges appearing around my cuticles that should have blended down to the natural nail bed. Filing and shaping is wonky, and she left no time at all between coats of paint. On that note, she asked me what colour I wanted. I expected to be showed a selection of colours. I said I'd like something light, to which she just grabbed the nearest light colour to her and and said "that one". I couldn't be bothered by that point to ask for something else, not after the fuss she made of me saying that she's caught my finger with the nail file! I got out of there as quick as I could.
