U.S. President Donald Trump has decided last week to waive sanctions on Iran, asserting he has done so to provide the United States congress and European allies a last chance to amend the flawed agreement. Trump's decision, however, was perceived by the Islamic Republic as a victory in its international effort to preserve the agreement that has granted Tehran sanctions relief in exchange for limiting Iran's nuclear program.

3) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov declares Russia's readiness to broker a peace process between Israel and the Palestinian aimed at ending the decades old conflict.

1) The Palestine Liberation Organization's Central Council called last night on its leadership to suspend recognition of Israel until the latter fulfills several Palestinian demands – including an Israeli recognition of a Palestinian state.
2) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warns that an American intention to form a zone in northern Syria that will be controlled by U.S.-backed rebels could lead to the partition of the war-torn-country.
3) Iran's President Hassan Rouhani announced that the United States had failed to undermine the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, primarily known as the Iranian nuclear agreement, and hailed the accord as a "long-lasting victory for the Islamic Republic."
