A chip off the old family block! My wonderfully talented nephew, Dave Bettencourt, in front of his self portrait at The Arts Project (Downtown London, ON). The exhibit is still on if you want to go check it out in person.

Portrait & Visual Art in Coloured Pencil or Graphite

Ana Tirolese is a Portuguese-Canadian fine artist residing in London, Ontario Canada with her musical husband and son, as well as, two very vocal birds.

Ana paints out of love and happiness. To her it is a real pleasure to put pen/pencil/brush to paper and create something. She is inspired by nature and the world around her. Her work captures vignettes of her reality.

Working mainly in coloured pencil, her work is often photorealistic. She has a talent for creating beautiful pieces full of life and memories. She captures the likeness and the soul of her subjects in her portrait paintings. Her work is intelligent, yet subtle.
