Audio needs work, had to turn my sound all the way to the left channel, and crank it, to get past the hiss on the right and hear them.

guts are 100% edible. and the seeds are ok too.  might want to salt them a little bit,  and waffle the guts longer (probably 3-6x what you would waffle a flower waffle. (to cook the insides and dry them out a bit more.))   fyi all except possibly the stem is edible.  even the skin although its tough.     for what its worth, i have waffled many things,  onions, potatoes, falafel.  pineapple, banana, ramen,  latkes, ham..   and many other things.

indeed, falafel waffles well!  i often add an egg to it and a little extra oil.  (comes out in the iron, and helps crispy it ) and cook it about 4x longer than a waffle.

this is foam, but i know you are thinking of wood..  looks doable.

My homemade foam viewer is a success. As you can tell by the crude construction, I've never worked with foam, but the view is great. All I did was trace my I AM CARDBOARD® 45mm Focal Length Virtual Reality Google Cardboard EVA viewer (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NK8ULCG/), extend the focal length to 10cm, and use one set of my Hasbro my3D lenses. I still need to add some straps and perhaps clean it up a bit with sandpaper. Another cool thing about this viewer is +Janice Maddy can wear her glasses while looking through it.
