I called to ask if they were carrying/had copies of a new title that had just been released (called THURSDAY). I received a curt, "No." No offer to order, no "we're getting more next week." Nothing. Called Superhero Beach and they had the title in stock, pulled it and the variant cover. I thought maybe my experience was unique, but since then, I've asked others about theirs. Of the three people I asked, so far all three had the same experience: rude, short answers, complete disinterest in being helpful. One person had the only salesperson in the store walk into the back room after seeing him, with no acknowledgment of his presence. (I.e., she didn't say, "I'll be right back," just left.) He didn't even know she worked there until ten or so minutes later when he called out for some help and she came back. They must treat their old customers better than their (potential) new ones, because literally no one I know has wanted to go there more than once.
