My wife and I treated each other to a dinner night out tonight at Posana. Everything was delicious and served quickly. I've never had gluten-free breadsticks that were yummier than your average breadstick. Thank you Posana for making our evening wonderful.

Dont get the burger. It is way overpriced. The french fries (excuse me "parmesan fries") were reminiscent of McDonalds. The waiter was tense and not friendly or knowledgable about the ingredients. I've been there before and had the kale salad and shrimp and I enjoyed it. This time was such a turn off I doubt I'll go back. Felt ripped off and very bad vibe.

Dined at Posana for a special occasion with a large group on Saturday evening. Upon finishing our meals, the manager, James, came to our table. He waived his hands and impolitely silenced us like children. We paid our bills in a hurry to avoid any further embarrassment in the restaurant. While leaving, one of the ladies from our group spoke with the manager about his rude approach. She received the response, "I'm sick of dealing with you." Needless to say, we will never dine there again. You should save your dignity and money!

I wish I could say something nice, really do, but I took my Wife out for her birthday as we had a great burger here a year previous for lunch. The dinner however was an absolute rip off ..I ordered the "short Rib" and asked .."is that like a Rib Eye Steak?" waitress said 'yes" My Spouse ordered the Chicken. 1. Our portions were pathetically small-I mean really small. My Wife received a thigh with a wing (nice presentation) ($18)- I paid $26 dollars for a 5/6 oz piece of crockpot meat-not kidding! The sides were also very insulting. Was supposed to come with grilled brussell sprouts and mashed potatoes; with a tablespoon I truly could have eaten all of it with 2 spoon fulls. So in the end after I also ordered an Old Fashioned ($12 drink) we were out 60 bucks excluding tip. ($70 with) We were still very hungry afterwards and we were both really upset. I would say don't roll the dice with your money. I am not sure about the other meals there but those 2 were just very lame.

When planning my Bachelorette Weekend in Asheville with 14 of my girlfriends, I had my pick of widely acclaimed and highly honored restaurants from which to choose. I knew I wanted the ambiance to be upscale and fun, what a fun occasion to celebrate! Not only were we celebrating an upcoming marriage but most of us hadn't been able to get together as a group in a long while, having babies and careers keeps us busy. Luckily, we'd all been able to schedule time away to be together and we couldn't be more excited! Posana was THE chosen location and I knew it would be a delicious dining experience, the farm-to-table concept is one that I greatly value and our meals were spectacular. Two of the women in our party are gluten-free and what a phenomenal gluten-free menu! Our service was superb, Katie went above and beyond our expectations. What I didn't anticipate was the inappropriate, derogatory and unprofessional treatment by the MANAGER of the restaurant. James approached our table towards the end of our dinner for the first time since we'd arrived. Not once throughout the evening did he approach our table to ask how our meal was. Not once did he approach our table to thank us for choosing and dining with Posana. Not once did he approach our table to congratulate us on our celebration. No, he came to the table to SHUSH us. Like 12 year olds. I've never been more appalled in my life. He informed me, who was SITTING AT THE VERY TABLE HE QUIETED, that he did not "shush" us. In a disrespectful tone, James seethed "Ladies, shhhhh. Your noise levels, bring them down". As though we were school girls at a sleepover. And then he walked away. We had even asked Katie, our server if we were being too loud and she assured us that we were not and in fact, told us that we were some of the kindest customers she'd met. She told us were "fine and to have fun!" I was so upset, I asked to speak to James alone and he proceeded to tell me he was "tired of talking to me" (after 1 minute of discussion!) and even asked ME how he should have handled the situation, "in my opinion". I want to congratulate you, James on your complete and total disregard and incompetence in your position. You had one job to do, make your customers feel like the most special people in the restaurant and you've failed.

This is our go to place for a special date night with my wife. She's gluten free and we both have deep convictions about good clean food. We were especially blown away by their fries. We haven't had McDonalds in years, but I admit to missing it every once in a while. Posana has matched and beaten the golden arch's famous fries! We almost always get the Brasstown burger as it's extremely tasty and filling. I'm not gluten free, but absolutely love their breads.

I can't fault this place at all. Easily among the best places I've ever eaten at in any country. Extremely friendly, polite service for starters. The outside area accommodated small dogs and they allowed us to dine with my small puppy, another boon. I would also mention that, despite being gluten free, none of the other diners with me noticed their food was gluten free. It tasted that good! I had 3 dishes whilst at the restaurant, having visited Asheville for the first time from living in London. For my appetiser or starter, I had seared scallops in an onion and aged cheese sauce. It was perfectly cooked and wish I could've had more. Between the courses I had their Kale salad, tossed in a lemon and olive oil dressing with pumpkin seeds and aged cheese, which again was a perfectly balanced dish that was, as of yet, the best salad I've had in my entire life and on all my travels. Bravo! Finally I had their Pork chop and caramelised onions and it lived up to the rest of the meal. I understand the food here is seasonal and farm-to-fork, and you can certainly taste the quality of the food you're getting. If I ever visit Asheville again, Posana café is definitely the first place I want to eat.

Awesome! The food is excellent. My son and I cried tears of joy to not worry about gluten (celiac). My husband and non celiac son also thought that it was awesome. My non celiac son said that it was the best grilled cheese ever!! Win, win, win! Thank you!
