I can't fault this place at all. Easily among the best places I've ever eaten at in any country. Extremely friendly, polite service for starters. The outside area accommodated small dogs and they allowed us to dine with my small puppy, another boon. I would also mention that, despite being gluten free, none of the other diners with me noticed their food was gluten free. It tasted that good! I had 3 dishes whilst at the restaurant, having visited Asheville for the first time from living in London. For my appetiser or starter, I had seared scallops in an onion and aged cheese sauce. It was perfectly cooked and wish I could've had more. Between the courses I had their Kale salad, tossed in a lemon and olive oil dressing with pumpkin seeds and aged cheese, which again was a perfectly balanced dish that was, as of yet, the best salad I've had in my entire life and on all my travels. Bravo! Finally I had their Pork chop and caramelised onions and it lived up to the rest of the meal. I understand the food here is seasonal and farm-to-fork, and you can certainly taste the quality of the food you're getting. If I ever visit Asheville again, Posana café is definitely the first place I want to eat.

Awesome! The food is excellent. My son and I cried tears of joy to not worry about gluten (celiac). My husband and non celiac son also thought that it was awesome. My non celiac son said that it was the best grilled cheese ever!! Win, win, win! Thank you!

Went there a couple of years ago, and the food was phenomenal. The remodel looks great and we will be going back. I just hope it is at the caliber that it was, when eat there in 2010.

I wish I could say something nice, really do, but I took my Wife out for her birthday as we had a great burger here a year previous for lunch. The dinner however was an absolute rip off ..I ordered the "short Rib" and asked .."is that like a Rib Eye Steak?" waitress said 'yes" My Spouse ordered the Chicken. 1. Our portions were pathetically small-I mean really small. My Wife received a thigh with a wing (nice presentation) ($18)- I paid $26 dollars for a 5/6 oz piece of crockpot meat-not kidding! The sides were also very insulting. Was supposed to come with grilled brussell sprouts and mashed potatoes; with a tablespoon I truly could have eaten all of it with 2 spoon fulls. So in the end after I also ordered an Old Fashioned ($12 drink) we were out 60 bucks excluding tip. ($70 with) We were still very hungry afterwards and we were both really upset. I would say don't roll the dice with your money. I am not sure about the other meals there but those 2 were just very lame.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Posana. Because I am gluten intolerant we do not eat out very often so it was exciting to order anything I wanted on the menu. I had the chicken and potatoes and my husband who is not gluten intolerant had the pork with homemade pasta. Both dishes were delish and I tasted the pasta and wow I wish I could learn how to make it. The gluten beer selection was great. I had to try two of them. Oh and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very good food; inventive & well priced. The wait staff is very attentive yet not bothersome. Inside or outside provides a most enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely return even though AVL has many good dining options.
