Here's an interview I did a few weeks back advocating for Bicyclist Education, through my friend and colleague Eric Brodie and his father.
Bike advocacy is a hot topic with cyclists in the US, and definitely in our neck of the woods, Dallas, Texas. While there are varying levels of interest among local governments around the country to make roads safer for cyclists and commuters, according to some, sharing the road is a two-lane street.  I got the chance to speak with Richard Wharton, elite cycling coach and owner of the Dallas Cycling Center to talk about how local bik...

Waj - I had a quick question regarding the Parrot. Does it have a 'follow' mode? I'm a cycling coach, and I also teach cyclist safety, and was wondering if there was a 'Lead' or 'follow' option for the Parrot that played off of a BT signal, say, maybe from a phone in a jersey pocket or such. I know battery life is limited on these quads, but I have to believe we could build some significant and good short videos explaining lane position, hidden hazards in the 2-d plane, and site lines as well as striping on roads. Do either of these units offer that? Do any?

+Richard Wharton The bebop does not have that function yet. Parrot assures users
on their website that it will be on the next firmware update.

Nothing in Google+ is as broad as the actual trip was - but this is still a good attempt.

Determining CP + W' correctly for use in the W'bal model, Nathan Townsend, 4/8/15 1:58 AM. Recently I've made several posts outlining why W'bal goes negative if you use FTP instead of CP in the model. This occurs mainly because FTP underestimates CP. In most cyclists (excluding elite and pros), ...

We visit Mani about once a year to enjoy the roads and the lakeshore, and we always bring our bikes. Inevitably, there is always a need for some maintenance or parts, and the crew at Heavy Pedal are always top notch in their service and knowledge. They're friendly, helpful, and quick, leaving us MORE time for outside rides! Thanks for having a PRO shop in this great cycling state and community!

I've had multiple fantastic experiences with TriShop for about 3 years now. Their staff is knowledgeable, and their product line is great. The shop is clean, but the integration of their performance training area with the retail is what really makes them stand apart. We're big fans, and we enjoy their small-shop approach to knowing their customers, and precipitating their needs. Thanks, gang, you never disappoint!

An extraordinarily talented Surgeon and a leader in the field of Spinal Injury. Dr. Wharton has been in practice since the late 60's, and has become one of the preeminent specialists in the country for spinal injury and reparation of degrading bone and tissue. I may be biased, but I am definitely impressed.

Sadly, it looks like Dr. Gunderson is not at this location, nor is he in Frisco, where they claim he's at the 'S-G Alter G Center'. No phone number exists.
