Thunderlord Progress - First Draft Done!
First draft of Thunderlord is done! That's the good news. The um, challenging news is that it's 220,000 words long. Way too long, even for DAW. I have embarked upon the excision of flabby prose, tedious subplots, and extraneous characters. Down to 208,000 a...

Sandi Pensinger has been invaluable in helping us rehabilitate our retired seeing eye dog, who had serious reactivity to other dogs. Her manner is calm and quiet, and her techniques are based in legitimate animal behavioral science, not television personality cult. The best thing is how much we ourselves have learned, so that every day is a fun/play/class for our dog. We have become more confident in handling situations that challenge our dog, and therefore both we and our dog are more relaxed.
