Not much to say other than it is okay. Skip the chips and salsa since that costs 5 bucks. The tacos and other selections are all okay and not as good as some taco stands around town. Probably a 5 star outside of San Antonio but for this area it is a 3 to 4 star max. There is better. There is worse. But the location is the best part. Wonderful outdoor seating next to the river.

Cool restaurant if you're from out of town and are looking for a restaurant that won't disappoint! The food is A-mazing! The staff is very friendly and the location couldn't be any more perfect. Second time were here and will definitely will keep coming back for more !

Sad to say, this place is for tourists. I've eaten hospital food that had more flavor than what I ate! The chicken was bland and dry, the corn tortilla was hard and stale. You have to know there cooking these days ahead and I don't see the purpose of this! They should be made to order for freshness and quality! As my wife and I we're walking out, we noticed trays of the corn tortillas with "use first stickers " who ever the owners are. .. you need to reorganize and change things for quality instead of speed, saving time is not worth losing customers. .. 65.00 for the worst meal I've had in a long time. .. never going back and that's for sure.!

Overpriced food and poor service. We ordered chips and guacamole, and they also brought salsa which we didn't eat. It was a tiny bowl of salsa and they charged $5.00. When I told my server we didn't want or eat the salsa, he said it is part of the order with guacamole. He should have told us. They also charged $3.00 for the chips. $5.00 for the guacamole. $13.00 for chips, guacamole, and salsa? I'll pass. My fish tacos were flavorless and cold. The menu said they were served on corn tortillas. What I got was more akin to sandpaper. Tiny sandpaper tacos. I requested fresh tortillas and was charged .75 for them. Our drinks finally arrived with the tortillas, at least my beer was cold. My companion however got a Chardonnay instead of a Cabernet. Simple mistake. Server comes back ten minutes later with a red wine, but before putting it on the table discovers a fly in it. At this point were trying to see the humor in it. By the time the wine gets there everything was as eaten as it was going to get. We got our check and of course all these charges are there, such as the Chardonnay, salsa, and a second Cabernet that we didn't drink. Took another 20 minutes to sort it out. We ended up going to taco cabana because we were still hungry. Their tacos were much better.

This place is always a fantastic dining experience. The location by the river is stellar with a little park to let the kids stretch their legs while you enjoy a cold beverage from their robust drink selection. The food comes in smaller portions but is always delicious. The staff is always solid and takes care of you. Beautiful location, great food, great atmosphere. It's always crowded, and for a reason. This is a regular spot for myself and my family.

Not a great place, the food was mediocre. The prices were OUTRAGEOUS! taco bell is far better (sadly). They charge $3.00 for soft drinks ( yes including unsweetened tea). They do not state that you will be charged such. The food portions are TINY, the tacos are the size of Chinese dumplings. The entrees come with NOTHING, if you want beans or rice or guacamole, expect to pay and pay dearly. And to add to this nightmare, I got utterly sick to my stomache a few hours later, then my family. I'm so very upset with this entire experience.

First there was the 45 minute wait outside in the heat/humidity. Once inside I was surprised that there was no A/C (there were ceiling fans but the breeze was not enough to either cool you down -OR- keep away the MANY flies). I had a Pork Torta with a very Hispanic sounding name but was dry pork on white bread, with lettuce, two slices of tomato, avocado, and potato chips (right, NOT tortilla chips -- but potato chips). It had no sauce, spice, heat, or Latin seasoning which made it much more bland and dry than I would have expected. Also, I have eaten at dozens upon dozens of Mexican restaurants over 3 decades, but this is the only one I recall where you had to pay extra for tortilla chips. The waiter tried twice to take plates before we were finished, never offered a refill on drinks, and had to almost be literally tripped to get a check. The only reason I gave 3-stars rather than 2-stars is that two in our party had a side order of Elote which was in fact tasty. Eat here, but don't expect as much as the advertisement or hype suggests you will find.

Place sucks bad. Overpriced and no food! I was with a large party, when my little 10$ tacos came put I scarfed them in 2 minutes. They had brought mine out early for some reason. When they brought everyone else's plate, they busted out all the salsas. I don't recommend this place to anyone . I'd rather eat taco cabana
