Finally on our way home after a great vacation in Puerto Rico. But not before a quick tour of old San Juan and an awesome coffee shop where the beans were roasted on site mmmmm.

I was just talking with some co-workers about the Zen garden being a bit stale. Good timing.

If they can get a few more pledges, the excellent Chris Avellone will join the writing team. This game is going to be awesome.

Time to start writing to-do apps in each (you know, the 21st century's "hello, world").

We just updated our Transparency Report, showing how many requests Google gets for information about its users. But we're not allowed to give the full story because the U.S. government says that requests under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) must be kept secret. We can tell you this: Requests have more than doubled around the world since 2009, and more than tripled in the U.S.: http://g.co/u5sp

Share this if you believe you have a right to know what our governments are up to.

Everyone show your support for Civitas. Hopefully it will show EA that riddling their games with DRM and removing basic features to sell them back to you later is not a good business model.

I cannot believe the level of dedication the guys at L&S Auto Trim have to get the job done well. My 2007 VW GTI had a sagging headliner, so I looked around until I found L&S. The examples of their work were incredible, so I knew I'd be in good hands. They had material in stock that was totally acceptable which meant they waived some of the fees; a really unexpected but pleasant start. The work was estimated at a full day, which was completely reasonable. Through absolutely no fault of their own, the interior dome light connector broke during the job (a definite flaw in VW's design). They immediately called to let me know and said they would fix it without additional charge. After all of the crap my car threw at them, they remained professional and friendly, courteous and accommodating. And the end result, of course, looks stunning. I cannot possibly recommend L&S Auto Trim enough.

The kung pao was cooked to perfection. The vegetables had that perfect balance of well cooked and crispy. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The host was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Michael was the most helpful guy I have ever met in a bike shop. He guided me to the best choice for me and helped me understand aspects of fitting bike shoes I have never considered like noticing the natural twist the leg and foot when placing the cleat. I recommend anyone wanting a thoughtful and courteous bike shop experience to check them out.
