This place is great. I had a tofu scramble omelette with beans and tortillas. They have lots of options and it is certainly fun to explore the non-meat side of things. They kept the coffee flowing during my visit and the personalities of the wait staff made the just-starting-your-day experience that much more enjoyable. Thanks guys.

Super tasty and inexpensive vegetarian options. My husband and I didn't even know this place was vegetarian until we started reading the menu. Normally he is a big meat eater but he was impressed. I had the collard greens, beans and rice with the vegan cornbread. So delicious! My husband had the breakfast plate with eggs, toast and fruit. Simple but all so good. I've also had an omelet here and it was loaded with tasty veggies. I love that they serve breakfast all day and it truly is among the least expensive breakfast spots in Austin.

Best breakfast tacos! And I'm not even vegetarian! Tofu Neal with facon (tofu bacon) is where it's at!

I'm rating this Cafe with 3 because they really should have a disclaimer warning of the potential stomach issues after consuming the food here. I never eat this type of food and apparently if this is the case one's stomach does not do well after eating here :D. The burger I had was really good though and the BBQ sauce was the cherry on top. Waitress was OK...she was a tad slow on getting our drinks out; She also forgot a sauce my date ordered. Artwork throughout the place is awesome.

Bouldin Creek Cafe is a quintessential Austin cafe and great place to get a healthy vegetarian/vegan meal. I'm pretty sure every time I've been here for lunch the wait for a table has gotten progressively longer. While I'm by no means a vegetarian, I do appreciate a good veggie sandwich or egg taco from time-to-time. Bouldin Creek Cafe proves that vegetarian food is anything but bland if properly prepared. The wait staff is appropriately chillaxed at all times and in absolutely no rush to disrupt the vibes.

I miss the old location but this one is good, too. Great coffee. Chill vibe. Total hipster haven. Almost every dude has a beard. Right down the street from Elijah Wood's house. They say he comes here once in a while when he's in town.

One of the best breakfast and brunch spots in town. The options are diverse considering the whole menu is vegetarian but you won't even miss the meat! The eggs are always fluffy, the potato hash crispy and the salsa spicy. I've tried everything from the Predictable Breakfast which will stuff you beyond belief to the Tofu Ren Taco which has some heat to it and is crisped to perfection. The only downsides are the wait time (but it really is worth the wait) and the service can be hit or miss sometimes but the food always makes up for it.
