Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share this photo of my son doing his first ever jump. Not only am I really proud of him (obviously!) because he's really nervous and lacks confidence sometimes, but I'm really pleased how the pic has come out, really captured the action and the beautiful day well! Good old iPhone. Anyway, hope you all like it.

Did you know horse riding is great for younger children? It keeps them healthy and fit, gives them confidence and great balance and coordination. Unfortunately not many schools cater for the very young, but here at www.sherwoodridingschool.co.uk we provide half hour lessons just for the under 4's.Why not bring your little ones along for a great time and they can learn to ride at this great Nottinghamshire riding stables.

Have you ever tried riding with no hands? It's a great way to practice you balance and foot control skills. You can walk and trot quite safely, and you'd be surprised at what you can do - it's a great way to gain your confidence when horse riding - try it!
