Introduction
Donald W. Meyers has worked at The Salt Lake Tribune since July 2007. Prior to that, he was the editorial page editor of the Daily Herald in Provo, where he was also a reporter. He was also a reporter with newspapers in New Jersey, and studied print communications at Brookdale Community College and Brigham Young University. He has won awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Utah-Idaho-Spokane Associated Press Association, the Utah Headliners Chapter, Society of Professional Journalists and the Utah Press Association. He is currently the Region 9 director for the Society of Professional Journalist and a member of its national Freedom of Information Committee. He is also a past president and current board member of the Utah Headliners Chapter of SPJ.
