Introduction
Bob Steelhammer is the Vice President of Digital Marketing & eCommerce for Sun Capital Partners, Inc. Bob brings over 20 years of experience in Digital Marketing, eCommerce, operations, corporate strategy, and strategic consulting to Sun. He is responsible for helping Sun’s portfolio companies achieve world-class results through their eCommerce and digital channels.

Prior to joining Sun, Bob was the founder and Managing Partner of the steelhammer group. The steelhammer group is a management-consulting firm that helps companies maximize their return on their eCommerce investments. The firm performed key strategy and operations work for companies such as TPG Capital, Petco, Vonage, Office Depot, Nokia, Vodafone, Avaya and many others.

Before forming the steelhammer group in 2007, Bob was the Vice President of att.com and AT&T's Chief Web Executive. He was responsible for growing the online business to over $4B in online sales. In this role, Bob led the development and launch of iconic products such as: MyWireles on ATT.com. Bob and his team worked directly with Apple to market and launch online the first iTunes Phones, included the iconic iPhone.



Prior the AT&T and Cingular Wireless merger, Steelhammer was the Vice President of eCommerce for Cingular Wireless. He led the team that built cingular.com into the most visited and successful telecommunications website in the U.S. (over $3B in online sales).

Before joining Cingular Wireless Bob was Motorola's Global Director of eBusiness responsible for Motorola.com worldwide.

Steelhammer started his career at IBM where he held key leadership positions in eCommerce, digital marketing, usability and technology. At IBM he built a $2.3 Billion B2B online business for IBM's Technology Group.

Steelhammer holds a bachelor's of science degree in Applied Economics from The University of San Francisco and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University in Washington D. C.

Customer service in automotive is nonexistent Brought car in to get oil changed, bought 5 qts of Mobile synthetic to put in the car AT Walmart Asked for the cheapest oil change and said I would provide the oil (that I bought there) Manager said I couldn't do that that I would have to return the oil and buy the synthetic oil change (which was $10 more) I agreed to that, 10 minutes later they called me and said they didn't have the oil filter for my car in stock, but could pull one from the store shelf for an additional $10 SHAKEDOWN FAIL
