Researchers found that those who didn't get Alzheimer's formed just as much plaque in the brain as those who did, but that their bodies eliminated it better.  There is an enzyme SIRT1 that causes this elimination, but it is only produced when we fast.  It may be that people who are predisposed to Alzheimer's could prevent it by fasting a lot more.  The problem with this is that even if such an approach were effective, it generates little or no income for the medical industry and the drug companies.  It would therefore never be embraced by them.  Read "The Science and Fine Art of Fasting" by Herbert Shelton.  He explains how autolysis works while fasting.  The fasting organism would autolyze the plaque before it would do away with essential organs and tissues.

The novelty, support, and celebrity status will dissipate quickly, and so it will be day after day of living mostly an anonymous life.  I hope and pray that she will make friends, make an effort to improve spiritually, etc. If and when her appeal is denied, she could ask that the funds collected be given to Travis' family.

Someone sent me a YOUTUBE clip where they went around a college campus and asked "Who won the Civil War?"   There were 8 students or so, none of them got the right answer

The American Indians also have an oral tradition of a white race being here before them.

Hi Cher,

Today, I bought a pack of Organic Romaine Heads at Trader Joes, for only $2.49
I juiced the entire pack (3 heads) in my Norwalk Juicer, with nothing else added, and I got an entire cup of Romaine Lettuce juice.  It was not bad, even straight, but next time I will mix with apples.

Sincerely,
Doug

Syria is awkward case. Both Israel and Saudi Arabia, U.S allies, hate Assad and want him out.  But in spite of being a despot, he stands for secularism in government and tolerates religious minorities, especially Christians, many of whom are allied with him against the rebels in the current civil war.

Phil Simms says one thing, but Roger Staubach and Jerry Rice have the opposite opinion.  Polarizing, yes, that's all we can agree on..........

Look at the places we have intervened: Iraq, Afghanistan, and then the West's involvement in Syria.  Look that the destruction and violence in these places.

Thus far, some of the minorities are disenfranchised, but the ethnic Russian majority seems pleased.  For a weak leader like Obama to say, "we don't recognize it"  well, most of the people of the region are probably saying, "Who cares what he thinks?"  Sending in the troops was a typical Putin bullying tactic, but so far, no fighting and major loss of life.

Still, as a police woman had a choice, she could have filed for divorce.  Her husband sounds like a self-centered, inconsiderate man, but saying she is not pretty, and dissing her family is not a crime.

Sounds like an emotionally disturbed woman stalking an emotionally disturbed man. LIke attracts like.
