Just a quick reminder about next weeks rail session for the Sheffield Metallurgical and Engineering Association in Sheffield with The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3). Come along if you have a passion in engineering and/or rail and want to see how our developments keep railways on-track.

Just had an interesting 15 minutes in the office unwrapping a stack of rail samples for analysis. Is it a bit weird to get excited looking at lumps of broken or welded rails? I guess that is what makes me a rail nerd? I (and many of our rail technologies team), always love the challenge of trying to understand what has happened

Back off to my old stomping ground in Sheffield to talk tech about rail for the IOM3 and Sheffield Metallurgical and Engineering Association. Come along if you fancy learning a little more about rail and are interested in metallurgy or engineering (or both!). I'll be talking about new rail steel such as HP335 and also Zinoco our new corrosion resistant rail solution. I look forward to seeing you there!

We're exhibiting at the 4th annual rail conference in India to showcase our innovative product range. Preparations have been brought to a conclusion, and we look forward to attending the event.
Just finished preparations for our upcoming visit to India to attend and present at a rail conference. My gaffer is thankfully clocking up the air miles and delivering the presentation showing how we can help them build stronger rail networks.
