Moxy Hotels are the newest addition to the Marriott chain.
The Moxy Frankfurt Airport is one of the few hotels of the Moxy chain in Europe, but the chain is growing quite fast and the greater Frankfurt area has now three Moxy Hotels.

The rooms of the Moxy Hotels are rather small and missing some basic features like a closet or desk. Instead of the desk, there is a small glass panel with a stool and only two hangers. The concept is that you do not spend much time in your room but socialise in the public area which is quite large but also noisy and somehow crowded.
The bathroom is also small with a shower only.
Design is modern and the bed comfortable. You can connect your tablet or smartphone to the TV, though we experience some difficulties with the settings and were not the only ones.

If you are looking for a place to sleep and otherwise will party or do not intend to work in the room, the concept of the Moxy Hotels will work your you. Otherwise, you should look for a different place to stay.

#CathayPacific will suspend its flights between Düsseldorf and Hongkong from March 25, 2018 according to https://www.businesstraveller.com/business-travel/2017/09/12/cathay-pacific-axe-dusseldorf/.
This means, that Düsseldorf will loose another long haul flight to Asia. The reason according to the article lies within the competition by Singapore Airlines and also the airlines from the Gulf Region. The good connection by train to either Amsterdam and Frankfurt, which are also served by Cathay Pacific might add to the decision to suspend the route, which is not a cancelation and should be reviewed later.
But we fear, it might be a permanent suspension.
