It's a bit harsh labelling no. 10 as a silly cyclist. I don't agree with your reasoning for this. The gap she filtered through was nice and wide plus the lights were obviously not about to change and she had loads of time to make herself visible to the driver when appearing just in front. Also, there was no left turn at that junction which means no risk of driver turning into her. Also this 'wobble' you keep mentioning when starting off from a stop, what's that about?? sure, there is a little side to side counterbalance of the bike as a rider shifts centre of gravity over the frame but it's rarely an uncontrolled wobble unless someone is still learning to ride a bike or drunk etc, so with plenty of space around you, I wouldn't necessarily say you are more vulnerable as things are usually well in control at this stage and no-one is travelling at any real speed when setting off including traffic. In some ways you could argue that occupying the centre of the road is antagonising to drivers as we are called to remain as far left 'as reasonably possible'. sure if the road is narrow and you're worried about being forced into the edge then take the middle but I think it's more considerate to keep as far left as possible whilst holding enough space to your left to allow for if a car does in fact pull up too close.
