Sad, but ultimately satisfying, movie with terrific female cast

Pippa Lee seems to live the good life. Sure, her husband is a lot older, and her daughter doesn't seem to like her much. But she's the perfect wife - everyone loves her special lamb dish, and the neighbours ask her for advice.
Something's not quite right, though - her life, we learn, has not always been this nice. There are secrets...

The grown-up Pippa is played by Robin Wright Penn, and her younger self by Blake Lively - both in quite stunning performances. The cast is studded with stars: Winona Ryder, Julianne Moore, Maria Bello and Monica Bellucci. And don't forget Alan Arkin and Keanu Reeves - the latter in the best performance I've seen from him for many years.
Great writing and directing by Rebecca Miller.
