I am thinking this companies need to prepare now with hiring and training those who will need to replace this retiring workforce. As someone in the insurance education and training field this makes me optimistic for the future. Are you seeing this actually happen

Attended the Los Angeles Chapter meeting of CPCU. Met some very promising seniors at Cal State Northridge University studying insurance. One of the students is just completing his final ARM class. The speaker was Matt Bettenhausen, Chief Security Officer for AEG Worldwide, the entertainment company that has Staples Center, LA Live and many other venues worldwide. Very interesting risk management issues at play. He also had leadership roles in California and on a national level for Homeland Security. I will feel just a bit more secure next time I see Keith Urban in concert at Staples Center

3,700 to 4,000 liens are filed each month
25,000 unprocessed liens estimated
Would require 54 clerks to stay current, not caught up 9 clerks available
Liens have clogged the system
Ten years to process and resolve current liens
Hear instructor Dennis Knotts discuss what do do about it at Liens and Fraud at IEA Workshops - March & April in California. Check it out at www.ieatraining.com

DID YOU KNOW? A person who has an ARM designation will receive an additional professional designation, ARMe (Enterprise Risk Management) simply by taking this one additional course and passing the ARM # 57 National Exam. This is an outstanding opportunity for valuable professional recognition and development with a minimum of time and financial commitment. IEA is conducting ERM 57 LIVE in Brea California, starting March 7, 2012 with instructor Kevin Kelley ARM.
