A trip to Banger's is like visiting an old college friend--it's comfortable, it's a little wacky, and there's plenty of beer. The huge communal tables, extensive beer list and inventive sausage selection make it a place that you can hang around for hours. I especially recommend sticking around for the late-night menu and trying the gummy bear sausage (yeah, you read that right). It may not be something you ever want to try again, but you at least need to try it once. Great beer, delicious food, attentive service... Banger's is a great addition to Rainey and is absolutely worth a trip.

Their wall of craft beers is amazing, not only as a sight to behold, but the variety to suit every taste. But the food always leaves me wanting more. Some people like the fact that their menu is slightly cafeteria style: you choose your sausage, then your bread, then your toppings. I made some mistakes with my choices and mine did not turn our well, I needed guidance from a professional chef. I would have liked more examples of things that a trained palate could have provided. While they do allow children in the restaurant, I don't recommend it. We took our 7 year old and the menu (despite our child's adventurous palate) is not kid friendly. In fact, Rainey Street is not kid-friendly (lack of lighting, no sidewalks, etc.) We'll save Bangers for date night.

Yummmmmm-o. Staff here are always friendly and have great suggestions for beers. I've had the currywurst here too and it's very large portions and filling. During their Oktoberfest celebrations we were their when they tapped a firkin and passed out glasses of free beer and had a live polka band that was definitely partaking heartily with us. Great, lively atmosphere and I hear they give you a discounts when you bring your pet to dine there.

Wide variety of sausages and pretty solid selection of beer. The sausage here is pretty darn solid, especially the currywurst. As someone who has traveled extensively to Germany, I can attest to the awesome goodness of the different sausages that I've tried at Bangers. I've been here a few times now during lunch and never dinner. Lunch is definitely a great time to go--there's never a wait plus you can usually park right in front! Definitely will continue to go here.

Home to a extensive outdoor biergarten area with family style seating, Banger's Sausage House is place to go for happy hour or just a simply get-together with friends and/or family. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The beer selection is outrageous--as in a wide selection to choose from. The food was delicious, especially the different types of sausage. Highly recommend it as place to go if you are on Rainey St.

The sausage isn't as fantastic as others I have had in town, but definitely appreciate the unique combinations and sauces (I had a chicken-chile infused sausage). I really enjoyed the expansive beer menu, as well as the seasonal beer selection. Something funny to note: If you get the Bangers logo tattooed on your arm, you get free bear for life (says so on the menu). The atmosphere is really laid back and the long picnic tables make running into new people easy. On a side note: I appreciate that there is a designated area for dogs to run around. I love dogs, but not when they run up and start licking my legs while I eat.
