All students have thoughts, dreams, worries, and more all going on inside their heads that we can't see or even imagine.  The only way we can help them express themselves and heal is to get them to speak to us.

Common Core is dead, and I am sad and frustrated.  But I won't give up and I will continue to search for the best way to teach my dual immersion students.  They are so worth it!

I take my dual immersion 4th grade class on a field trip to the local community college to immerse them in the field of science.  Lots of opportunities to practice language and explore science concepts using real world examples.  Perfect for a language learner!
