Smorgasburg offers a high variety in food & drink choices, but be prepared for a huge crowd of people and very long lines for pretty much every stand. Some of the stands seem a tad expensive, others are reasonably priced for the value you get. The venue is located directly at East River, presenting you with a nice view over Manhattan.

The Sunday Smorgasburg has moved from the Brooklyn Bridge Park to Prospect Park. This is actually more convenient for me. So instead of having to take two trains and then walking dumb far, I now only need to take one train and walk a few blocks. I like this location better than the Brooklyn Bridge one. It's a bigger space so there's more room to walk. I'm not sure if the vendors vary by week but I got to try po boys, coconut water from a freshly chopped coconut, ramen burger, japanese fried chicken, jianbing (crispy crepe filled with veggies and meat), and the raindrop cake (don't buy into the hype - this was terrible). Smorgasburg is always expensive, but it's more of an annual thing for me anyway. I like trying the latest food craze, or just having a variety of food in one area. Tip - street parking is free on Sundays but spots are very hard to come by. We got lucky and nabbed a spot but your best option is probably the train.

Crowded as hell, but crowded for a reason. There are tons of food options available, a beer garden (I only wish I could have brought the beer around the rest of Smorgasburg), and tons of vendors. The lines were insane for a few of the attractions (ramen burgers for example) but all the food I tried was great. I would definitely go back, likely after getting a lunch cocktail or two beforehand, just to try out what I missed.

Show up right when it opens to avoid the lines, too many things to try to go just once! Personal favorite is the Goa pork belly taco, they have some sort of magical phyllo pastry for the shell -- hot damn it's good!

A favorite Saturday destination for great food and people-watching with Manhattan skyline as background. The food choices are amazing - Arepas, all-plant burgers, shishito peppers, paratha tacos among regular hot-dogs, hamburgers and fries. A Brooklyn experience.

Massive selections of great foods in Brooklyn. Love the ambience of hungry foodies queueing for great food. My favorite is the ramen burger. If you can't find empty tables, look for green area beside the river, you can enjoy your food looking at Manhattan view.

I can't say I had a good experience at the Saturday Smorgasbord. I've tried some of their "gem" vendors including Ramen Burger(you can see my review there), Fries place , etc. It's the biggest waste of $90 dollars I've spent for a family of 4. This is nothing more than overpriced food stalls that doesn't taste all that great. I had a feeling half of the people there are tourists by overhearing their conversations. The only positive thing there was the mango on a stick...because you can't mess up a mango on a stick.

great place to eat outdoors in the Brooklyn waterfront. A mix of established, eclectic and experimental food choices makes this a great place to come eat in Brooklyn and to sit on the waterfront and enjoy the best view. Beware of the crowds. Lines at some vendors exceed 30 minutes!

Smorgasburg hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
