Ed Abbey died 25 years ago this week, and a couple friends carried his body out to the desert and buried it illegally, just like he wanted. It was a fitting statement for a man who spent his life loving the desert and wilderness, and raising hell about protecting it.

Wheelchair accessible entry ramp and large bathroom. The dining area might be a bit cramped between tables during busy hours. Small parking lot, which may be an additional barrier during busy hours. The food is great. Highly recommended.

Pretty simple: big sandwiches, tasty ingredients (fresh as I can tell), and plenty of options to choose from to build your sammy. Don't bother with Kneader's, Subway, or the Quiznos in the area. Just go to Leger's and cough up the same dough you would spend at one of the fast places.

50/50 that you'll get a well made sandwich here. Produce tastes a little on the weak side, sandwiches are usually pretty dry, and for $7 I would look for a little more. Nothing 'hearty' about these sandwiches. Great deserts (pricey), but if you want a sammy go over to Leger's near the WF / liquor store. They stack the ingredients high and everything tastes a little fresher.
