I have seen some variation in the interior bearing wall being drawn down to the grade line with the slab broken on either side of it or the wall stopping above the slab allowing for one continuous slab between the exterior bearing walls, is there a right or wrong way here? Also, do we need to break up the ceiling at fire partitions? Can they be continuous at non-rated partitions or do we need to break them up there as well? I have come across a variety of answers for these and wanted to see if anyone had any advice! Thanks in advance!
