There was some math, I think. I know we had to read stuff. It seems like we trained a rat to do something and I know we heated stuff up in test tubes, because there was a problem.

Wonderful market. Fresh vegetables, great selection of meats and, best of all, terrific, helpful owners and employees.

Wonderful. Just spent two great nights. It was our kids' first trip to Steamboat and the Nordic Lodge was a perfect place to stay. The (free) bus to the ski area picked us up and dropped us off right in front. The bus can take you anywhere you want to go. Since the lodge is right downtown, though, it's an easy walk to eat, drink coffee, soak in the hot spring, shop at F.M. Light, etc. Breakfast was just right. The owners really work to make you welcome, including letting us check out late so we could shower after our last day of skiing.

Fun place to have breakfast. Friendly people and delicious food. Possibly the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had.

The food was really good. We had the salmon entree and the steak entree and they were both delicious. It has a nice view of the river from inside. They have a deck that overlooks the river, but we didn't eat there because it was an extraordinarily hot day. At first I thought the prices were a bit high, but the food changed my mind -- it's very well prepared.

Delicious food -- Italian food that you know but with an unusual mix of ingredients that work well together. Lasagna with three cheeses, asparagus, capers, spinach and whole grape tomatoes. Gnocci with barbecued pork. Salad with caramelized Pink Lady apples, arugula, red onions and toasted walnuts. Fried green tomatoes -- even better than the movie. Nice, neighborly atmosphere in an old house. The restaurant was busy on a Friday night, but we only waited five or ten minutes. Actually glad we waited because it gave us a chance to sit in the backyard bar. It's like a quick visit to rural Italy. The restaurant has a small kitchen, so it can take a while to get your food, but it's a fun place to be and well worth the wait.
