Couldn't ask for a better Hospital 🏥 or Better Nurses Doctors , actually all the staff are wonderful, I have had the misfortune of having to be hospitalised on a few occasions one of which. I was very seriously ill and wud not have made it if it wasnt for such excellent staff, now I go there 3 days a week and I just can't think. Of enough words to praise the nurses and porters and Doctors and all other staff, Thank you all. 💝

One of the worst experiences of my life! Pray your gods that you never get sick enough to need a hospital while living in Ireland. And if you are sent to an hospital, bring entertainment, food, the kettle, etc. as you will be there a while. Unless you have a busted head or can't breathe. You'll get through quick then. If you are unfortunate to have a 'minor' problem in a bad day, you will easily spend half a day in there just to be seen by a doctor. We spent 5 hours waiting yesterday, at which time we gave up. A very nice nurse, very understanding and helpful, told me we would probably still be at the hospital by the time we normally wake up to go to work. That would have been another 5-6 hours on top of the previous 5. This is insane. I have never seen this anywhere else. I have lived in 4 countries. Old people in the waiting room crying of either pain or despair/frustration. It was sad to see. Receptionist completely indifferent. Just another day. Talking to Irish friends, all I heard is "welcome to Ireland". It's just how it is. People avoid going to hospitals for this and other problems. It's really sad.

What fantastic staff in the Childrens' ward and A&E. They looked after my son so well, nothing was trouble to them. His treatment was world class. Thank you all so much.
