Fantastic wait staff. "Tim" and the other waiters were friendly and helpful on menu decisions, suggesting the items he felt were the top of the line. We had the seafood spaghetti, Steamed mussels, Seafood Ravioli, Clam Chowder and jumbo shrimp, Avocado salad, Fish and chips, margaritas and strawberry creme burlee for desert. Our group left stuffed and happy and ready for a return visit!

HORRIBLE FOOD. Beware way overpriced and nasty. Wish we would have reviewed it b4 wasting 100 bucks on a dinner that was garbage. Mushy nasty crab cakes, pre frozen tiny shrimp, even the chowder was horrible. Dont waste your money or time its NASTY!!

I dined at Alioto's tonight and the waiter altered the final signed debit card bill to increase his tip without my knowledge by almost $15. This is in spite of the fact that my Mom and I dined at this restaurant last week and left the same waiter over a 20% tip. I am contacting my bank, the BBB, restaurant, and will never dine here again. A distasteful experience leaving a bad fishy taste in my mouth.

So many restaurants on the Whaft have pre-made food, but here the chef makes things fresh--try the cioppino or the seafood sausage. They're amazing. Local diner

I dined at Alioto's and the waiter altered the final signed debit card bill to increase his tip without my knowledge. I saw this and asked him to changed it and give me a new receipt, which I signed. However, when I checked my bank account I discovered they had charge me twice, once for the unsigned receipt and the other for the correct receipt. Really annoyed!
