A room mix up sorted and after that everything was great. All the staff - there must be as many staff as guests couldn't be more friendly. Turning the bed down in the evening, fresh slippers, Christmas trees to die for and a mean cocktail in the bar when it's raining.... Home has a lot to live up to now. The wife has to up her game!

Amazing service from the concierge. We left a stuffed teddy bear dare to the family and they found it and mailed it back to us safely. ;)

Stayed here at the weekend - 8 of us on an Arts Weekend. It was the busiest weekend in Dublin with half marathons, swim in the Liffey, Beerfest, and the All Ireland Football Final. The Shelbourne Hotel was so fantastic - the best hotel I've been in. They go the extra mile. Thank you for making our weekend so special.

Average Deluxe Room, Average Service, it was too Busy to get food or a drink and the Breakfast was a disaster waited 40 minuets to be seated and were put in a Bar with a makeshift Buffet it was cold and hard. We paid to eat in the Restaurant not in the Bar, I have been to much better 3 and 4 star Hotels. Made a complaint afterwards but got no Satisfaction

Wedding Anniversary, 2010. We were delayed and arrived after the kitchen had closed. We were asked if we'd eaten yet, and, not having eaten, were catered to immediately. Our room was superb. On the bed, two white towels folded in the shape of swans facing eachother, making the shape of a heart. Rose petals adorned our pillows and a complimentary bottle of Champagne set the mood for a fantastic weekend. Mrs was impressed. (My Status: Hero) The following night, on our return, having been sight seeing, we found a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates, with the caption "happy anniversary" written in chocolate around the perimeter of the plate. (My Status: Super Hero) I haven't experienced service like that for a long long time. It is our 25th Anniversary next July and we plan to return. The Staff and Management were amazing. There were no pretentious, "I will get someone to look after that for you", whoever you asked, helped immediately. Would recommend staying here to anyone!!

Had an awesome stay during my time in Dublin. Staff is really friendly as they also pinpointed me to all the great attractions in Dublin. Arrived as a stranger, left as friends!

Decent food, but was really luxurious, so felt under pressure to eat the fancy way!
