A "nice" place without the tablecloths (or stuffiness). The food is fantastic! The decor is simple, reminiscent of the idea of the British underground without remotely touching the grunge of reality. From the fresh bread and butter all the way to dessert, each item is delectable, well executed, and well thought out. A wonderful meal and we will definitely be back!

I went here on a quiet Monday night. Service was slow (I was the only person sitting in my entire area) and the portions are quite small. The Tomato soup special was very good, but everything else was pretty forgettable. A couple things I ordered never even came, but I just gave up on getting them. There are so many other restaurants in DC; I have no reason to go back here.

Great food (try the pork belly, and the banoffee pie). Loud space, though, and somewhat distracted service.

the food is not worth the cost, but the drinks and drink selection are top notch. due to poor value for money, its hard to recommend this place for anything more than a drink and snack with friends.

The food is pretty good, but probably will only go @ once a year because it's so freakin' expensive! Small portions for a lot of money mean that you make it too expensive and not worthwhile for your customers to come back very often. Too bad. We would go a lot more if their prices were more appropriate.

Great place for happy hour. It's all about those appetizers, and by appetizers I mean their pretzel bread with sharp mustard. I'd eat that mustard on anything. They took it away for a while, and fortunately realized how many hearts breaking around DC and brought it back.

Banoffee pie was not as good as I'd hoped, but the drinks are strong and classic.
