It's simple but not easy to be skilled at managing a reactive dog. It takes lots of practice to sharpen your own mechanics while teaching the dog various exercises to help the dog stay focused on you.

To all the volunteers I've gotten to know, the dogs and cats I've gotten to love, to all the good times, and sad ones.  There is hope - #PAWSCROSSED

Pets Alive, Inc. located in Middletown, NY, Board of Director (@jbsibley| twitter) mocks the closure of our Westchester location uprooting our senior dogs from their home and family/volunteers, beginning with the first 5 last Saturday - and sedating one for the ride (1.5 hours one way). A petition has been created on Change.org and hope that you share and sign this unjust behaviour. https://www.change.org/p/john-sibley-and-pets-alive-board-john-sibley-pets-alive-resign-from-the-board?recruiter=41609668&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink
John Sibley is the President of the Board of Directors of Pets Alive. They have locations in both Westchester and Middletown, NY. (Their shelter in Puerto Rico was recently closed due to financial difficulties.) Since John Sibley took control, the organization as a whole has spiraled into a mismanaged state of affairs. Both remaining locations are out of money. Consequently, John recently led the Board in a vote to close down the more successful ...

On October 10, 2015, Pets Alive in Middletown, NY concluded the initial RFP (Request for Proposal) process from interested rescues, INCLUDING Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, a newly established company headed by former employee of Pets Alive Westchester, and favored by former volunteers, to acquire our facility at 100 Warehouse Road South, Elmsford, NY.  Now, begins the long wait for the Board of Directors of Pets Alive in Middletown, NY to make up their minds on what to do with the facility now laying dormant since September 15th, 2015 closure. #SAVEOURSHELTER  #SAVEOURWESTCHESTERSHELTER

Clean and very helpful, even though I brought my own towel, shampoo and brushes, Mary helped me getting my dog on the table. I love not having to wait for a groomer's appointment and can now do it myself.

Place is dirty. People don't speak English. Man opens the door when I told him to step away and he ignored me because he didn't speak the language. I drove away. I love Splash.
