Two hundred fifty years of slavery. Ninety years of Jim Crow. Sixty years of separate but equal. Thirty-five years of racist housing policy. Until we reckon with our compounding moral debts, America will never be whole.

Better go to a more authentic one with less expensive and noisy hipster-Raj decor for the 'memsahibs' (yes, you, and they even have Eton Mess). Food's pretty decent, though avoid the overpriced signature lamb leg which tastes like generic pulled pork, and decor is cool BUT: - The wait is horrendous - Upsell patter from waiter is inauthentic and patronising - looks reasonable but expensive for Indian because dishes are small - so loud you can hardly hear anything. Hard decor, loud braying New Shoreditch

It's pretty bad, don't bother. Dry falafel, tabouleh salad is old. At least the houmus is edible
