Z's's posts

Hello! My name is Zoe and I'm a gluten-free food blogger. I also blog about a wide variety of interests on my second blog

I'm passionate about +Pressgram  and have been a fan since I first heard about it, when it was a Kickstarter campaign. Since then I've been a vocal supporter and that is what inspired me to join the community team as a leader on Google+ for Pressgram. Like +Demian Seiler, I'll do my best to assist you or answer any questions you might have. I also manage the Pressgram Magazine on Flipboard.

+Pressgram launch Week #1 is in the books folks. It is just unreal what we have been through and the growth we have seen in just this first week. And we owe it all to you, the +Pressgram community and yes, even the +Android people that are itching to have +Pressgram for your devices. Lets make week two even more unbelievable! Spread the news everyone. The more the news is spread, the more our community grows.

Ladies and gentlemen, we post a lot of content about the evils of things like Facebook and Instagram, as well we should. We also post about +Pressgram as one tool to take back your rights that you may not even know are being taken from you.

Please read and share this blog post by our own +Jacob Miller. He is one of our fantastic team members on the +Pressgram leadership team. Jacob really hits home the point that this is not just about philosophy, it is about real tangible ownership of your content and the dangers of not being a good steward of that content.

+Pressgram is important to me and something that I'm passionate about, so it is with huge honour that I am glad to be part of the team.
+Pressgram is a huge idea, with lofty goals, and fierce battles to be fought and won. This is not just hyperbole in our eyes, but a very real mission that we see as critical not just for Pressgram's sake. The importance to combat some the dangerous precedents that have been put in place by the likes of Instagram and Facebook, are also an integral part of this mission. No one person can do this alone, and +Pressgram is no exception. Meet the community leadership team for +Pressgram!

As with most great things, even the great Twitter, servers can be surprised by a positive response to an application.  Such is the case with our AWS architecture.  Certainly we did our best to be prepared for day 1 and boy have we already had an amazing day.

So, that said thanks to this amazing response to +Pressgram we are working, and when I say "we" I mean +John Saddington is working, on keeping up with the ever growing community for the app.

Read more about what he has to say here, and stick with us.  Trust us, it is so worth it.

+Pressgram is available in the App Store now! It's a great app and free!
I couldn't be happier or more proud to announce that +Pressgram is now available for download in the app store.  If you have been keeping up with us along the way or if this is the first time you are hearing about us, please take a moment to read this post by the creator of +Pressgram+John Saddington on a little bit of the story of +Pressgram birthday.

Now, what are you waiting for, go download +Pressgram and get to publishing your photos knowing you are the king and controller of your own content!  And don't forget to share with your friends.  We have some lofty goals to hit and with your help they will easily be attained.

FYI: If you don't see +Pressgram in the #Apple  store yet it may be due to the app still propagating through the #Apple  servers.  Never fear, just visit the link for a link that will take you right to the download in the app store.

Important read! If you're on Facebook or know someone who is, pass it on. Educate yourself and the crowd.
We do a lot of "Rah! Rah! Pressgram" stuff here, and for very good reason. Much the same way that Apple is known for rethinking existing ideas, +Pressgram really is an amazingly innovative rethink of the way we should share the world around us.

To truly understand that rethink, you must first understand one of the major problems that is at the very core of the solution +Pressgram is built to provide.  This post today is so very IMPORTANT for you to read in order to begin to understand this problem.

And this is true not just of the +Pressgram community, but we believe even for those that do not use +Pressgram.  We are being sold and abused everyday and it is time to wake up and take action.
