"If Magic Leap is second to what I saw today [from Meta], it's so fucking undervalued compared to the 1.3 billion that's been invested in magic leap that I can't even begin to explain how undervalued this is"
Scoble waxes lyrical about the greatest product demo since the Macintosh in Meta's upcoming augmented reality product. He can't really talk any details because they're still embargoed for another two weeks till Ted, but he's quite emotional about the experience he's had."In the next 5 years we're going to be wearing glasses instead of using computer monitors; we're going to be wearing glasses instead of looking at our mobile phones"
He goes on to elaborate about the role of augmented reality, and its 2-4 year gestation before its really hitting consumers. He also talks about similar products and companies, such as Lytro, and how big the whole market could be in ten plus years.
