Lorenz has a number of novel features and it also contains a very high proportion of self-printed parts. I haven’t finished it yet, and here is a picture of it finished.
What? Well. Because of the brilliance of open source Tim Williams downloaded what I had done, finished it and got it working.

Blog Post - RepRap Lorenz’s First Test - Bye Bye Belts!
RepRap Lorenz does not use timing belts. Instead it is driven by wire wound helically on a pulley on each stepper motor.

We are starting to run low on stock of the 0.5mm and 0.3mm One-piece stainless nozzles (as used in the RepRapPro Huxley, Mono and Tricolour Mendel and also the Ormerod 1 and 2 (up to version 528.4).
Once our stock has gone, we will not be ordering any more of these nozzles so if your RepRap uses this type of nozzle and you would like a spare/replacement, please order soon to avoid disappointment.
We are still able to offer the Quick-set nozzles and if you would like to upgrade your 3D printer to this nozzle, please get in touch and I can let you know the components you will require.
