"All they really told me is that boys play with their products. I already know boys do play with your products, so why are you only marketing them to girls?

"Six months after giving birth to a baby girl, Rai has yet to regain her pre-pregnancy figure.

Many in India are asking whether the woman routinely referred to as the most beautiful in the world, and who occupies a place in Indian popular culture akin to Kate Middleton or Victoria Beckham, has an obligation to her fans to lose weight."

"With the [gaming] industry's attitude and representation of gender very much one of the hot issues of 2012, the reaction to the announcement is understandably likely to anger the more proactive parts of the games community."

"Yes, Jackson has since apologized for the post. But he hasn’t apologized for how much my hand hurts every time I punch a wall just thinking about it, so let’s call it even and really take it apart, shall we?" +Rachel Sklar pwns Eric Jackson's lazy Forbes piece on executive women: http://www.forbes.com/sites/forbeswomanfiles/2012/05/25/the-lazy-stereotyping-of-executive-women-a-case-study/

Introduction
Miss Representation is a documentary film written, directed and produced by Jennifer Siebel Newsom. It premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and was aired nationally by OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network in October of the same year.

MissRepresentation.org is the call-to-action campaign born out of the film - giving people the tools to stop sexism and empowering women and girls to reach their full potential.

This page is for Hoboken area Social Action Representatives to post articles, information about meetings, and anything else that may help foster media literacy and further the Miss Representation movement.
