Ok let me put it like this, if you were cooking a dish that you knew personally tasted best with 12 cups of sugar would you add more just because you can. Ever game has it's formula, asking developers to make their formula flexible on the first game in what may be a franchise is a tad too picky. You might actually like the feel of 6 vs.6 but the game hasn't even came out yet. Another game example is AC's multiplayer which honestly if they had any more than 4 vs 4 or bigger maps I wouldn't touch it. What I'm saying here is that sure they could make a big map with 20+ players on it, but just by considering the fact it's supposed to be fast-paced too much space would ruin it. Seriously the word "balancing" does apply to video games.
