Sometimes it is surprising that humanity is still in the food chain.

Sounds like people are just missing their old -hold you by the hand- mom and pop pharmacy. Never saw it, this one has been here for several years as far as I recall. Never seen these mysterious lines around the store. Never experienced any wait to really speak of. Which is good because I have to drive at least twenty minutes to get here. Maybe the complainers have managed to find the one time of day when everyone else has showed up?

The major players bailed after the Obama initiative to expand the networks. All the old promises of laying cable of any kind way out here faded to obscurity. The small town carriers have not the resources to do the ground work the big guys bailed on. We felt there would just never be any viable option way out here for desirable connection speeds. I invested in a radio tower and left it laying there in sections until I had exhausted all other options. Looked into cell technology, jetpacks etc... all of which have become unusable after their abolishment of any unlimited plans. I built the tower. forty-five ft. It was not easy, construction or erection. It does have a very clear line of sight to the tower, which is a requirement for this type of beaming technology. The installation (paid to a contractor) was a couple of bills because we did not want to get tied into contract. I doubt they made any money on the install, the materials and contract labor looked quite valuable. Even the 300ft of Cat5 bury cable would have ate up a good chunk of the fee, that a second contractor had to come and bury at a later time. It is a good value. It has been a few months now and we are happy. We can stream movies and TV, download huge games and even use voice comms. After living in Dallas on cable and being able to easily consume 20gb of data before getting out of bed, this is the next best thing. Definitely worth the investment of time, muscle and money.

Made us ill at the stomach for hours last night. I think it was the cheese goo dispenser pump. Okay, this is an extremely high volume store, so you know what to expect. When things lull, no one is cleaning. It is dirty. Luckily the low lighting masks it well enough you don't have to be offended by the grime.
