One day I was walking around the area behind our apartment in Kuala Lumpur and stumbled upon this quaint little Buddhist temple. Buddhism is such a beautiful religion of peace. The world could use a bit more peace today.

Sometimes in a foreign country you're at the mercy of the locals. Especially when you violate a cultural norm, like how some countries frown upon women talking back. Add into that the woman phrasing her thoughts poorly and you just might find yourself kicked off your flight.

Candi Mendut is a small temple in Indonesia that is a perfect mix of ancient, beautiful and mysterious. I really love how intricate and detailed the carvings are.
