Chain of full-service supermarkets (some with movie rentals & gas-station services).- Google
"A large selection and helpful staff; huge liquor department with low prices."
"Service & Produce could be improved a bit but not a deal breaker."

This particular Woodman's location is my go-to for grocery shopping, with the main draw being price and selection. That said, since a recent remodel, the price factor hasn't been as competitive as it had been in past, and selection can sometimes be hit or miss in a few rare instances. Yet they are still by far the best selection in the Green Bay area. The store itself, even though it went through a remodel, isn't the most modern or aesthetically-pleasing place to shop. Some days, it does get extremely busy and some departments become tough to navigate. I find weekday evenings are usually the best times to come to avoid crowds. Produce is probably the only real downside of shopping here. While they have a large selection of it - including harder-to-find and organic items - the produce area isn't well maintained and often poorly stocked. Finding moldy produce here is a regular occurrence. That's why I typically favor Costco or Festival for produce, Maplewood or other specialty places for meats... and Woodman's for most everything else. It would be nice to have more full-service departments like meat and deli - it's pretty bare bones here. But on the whole, for most of my shopping, I can find pretty much everything I need and save a sizable amount by shopping here.

Excellent large locally owned grocery store. Wide variety of every item. Includes good offerings of local and Wisconsin produced items. The cheese section is second to none with an extraordinarily diversified selection of cheeses produced locally and from afar. The frozen pizza section ice cream, and dairy sections are huge with a very impressive variety of offerings to meet all preferences and wallets. The fruit, produce and meat sections are average having a wide variety, but lacking impressive freshness or quality. If they have a deli section, it has so far stayed hidden from me. Prices are competitive. This is where I choose to do most of my grocery shopping.

Employee owned and the variety is excellent. You can find nearly everything you ever want or need there. There imported choices are great. Lot's of tastings on the weekends.

Wonderful selection and great prices. Friendly staff. The only thing lacking is their meat market.

I love the amount of vegetarian options available. This place is definitely vegetarian and vegan friendly. Great selection of all things, great prices. Only complaint is that the service is slow. The employees make no attempt to make it seem like they care in the slightest about anyone or anything. Otherwise this is my favorite place. If you can avoid the employees and use the self checks you will have a wonderful experience.

Great beer and liquor selection. Also good natural and gluten free sections. They really need to redesign the front of the store though, checking out when it is busy is a nightmare. And the tiled floors with carts... The worst.

Started shopping here Cheaper Prices on some of the items I shop for!!! Maybe very busy a lot takes a few minutes to check out but if your not a complainer or type A personality, be patient you'll get there. Beats Wal-Mart Did my price check comparisons!

One of the cheapest grocery stores(even cheaper than wal-mart i think). Excellent selection of everything, if you cant find it anywhere go to woodmans. The only downside is their deli. Its an ok selection, pretty small considering how huge the store is.
