My little dog loves. Loves, loves the park! When we turn on the road leading to the park he knows where he is and goes crazy with delight until I park and we go in.

Great park but very expensive. If you go 2-3 a week it's practical. Other than that it's not worth the coin.

We have a Corgi, Molly...If you don't know the breed, they are rather small. we took her to the park when she was just 4 months old and she played happily with the other dogs in the small dog park, wading in the small dog pool there. After several visits to the small dog park we decided to let her out with the larger dos and she had a blast chasing and running with them. She learned to swim in the large lake. I have had several dogs over the last 50 years and must say that, Thanks to Dogwood Park, Molly is the most socialized of all of them.

I arrived there with a client and her dog to give this nine month old puppy some socialization with other dogs. The dog was barking quite a bit because of excitement and stimulation but showed no signs of aggression just excitement. They told us that we could not bring her in with the other dogs. When we asked why they said because she is aggressive. We asked for our money back and took her to Veterans Park where she had a blast with a couple of other dogs there showing absolutely no signs of aggression. The employees at dogwood park have no idea about dog behavior all they want to do is avoid any incidents at all therefore excluding so many wonderful dogs that just need a chance to be off leash and have fun. I suggest you go to Veterans Park which is free and no one there to tell you you cannot bring your dog in. I will never recommend Dogwood Park to any of my clients again.

Used to be a wonderful park until owners changed. Had people with very small dogs running around in the large dog area near the lake and I felt this was very unsafe, especially because the same day we were having issues with a few aggressive dogs in the park. Definitely not returning.

Before we moved out of Jax, we were members. Returned to Jax had to become a member! Owners have changed, and so have the welcome of aggressive dogs. My dog got bit deeply on the side of her face. I found her sitting by the gate to leave. Hey, you know they are ultra protective upon registering you. No agressive dogs allowed the office pleas. I observed the clientele playing so rough, I didn't feel safe! Suddenly this fantastic dog park I couldn't get enough of was becoming a war zone! So disappointed this once welcoming dog park is no longer. One day the wrong dog will be bit. It's just a matter of time.
