Hmmm... Sounds like what the industrial revolution did.
Thx for pushing this out to google + Tim. Good stuff!
I'm putting together a REQUIRED training for all departments and programs who already have or want to create college-associated Facebook pages. I'm calling it "Facebook Administration Training." I plan to go over Facebook Pages vs. Groups, help them to determine if they NEED a page, make sure they understand what all is involved, and then go into strategy, management and tools. If I do this right, it could save me from many headaches in the future.
Have any of you done trainings like this before? Do you have any advice or suggestions of topics I should make sure to cover (or avoid)? Any tools or strategies people are using at your school that work? I'm concerned I'm going to throw too much information at them. Many of these people are serious beginners. I don't want to totally discourage them from using social media (don't want them going rogue). I want to provide them with tools and trainings that will empower them to use it and be as successful as possible.
