Don't believe the hype. Overpriced, slow, and inaccurate for a simple order. Ordered a toasted sandwich, came out nearly as a charcoal brick. They also put mayo on the sandwich, which I asked them not to. Will not be going back

Nobody compares! The best bread in the area, I drive miles out of my way just to get my weekly loaf of Como.

You have to be careful of what time you come here in order to get around the lunch-hour rush. I prefer to come here either at 11AM or 1PM. Otherwise, you'll be stuck in line waiting forever. My go-to items to grab here is a cup of soup. They offer 2 different soups daily, so take a look up at their menu board to see what they've got. Usually, it's some sort of veggie soup, which all taste pretty good. The soup comes with a roll, which I may be overreacting, but the roll is pretty damn good. For something sweet, I usually go for the twice-baked challah. It's a good meaty bread, and the powered sugar on top isn't very overwhelming. Either that, or the oatmeal, chocolate chip cookie, which I love. I happen to like this place (granted I come during my recommended times) so much that I come here at least once or twice a week for lunch.

GREAT cafe for breakfast biscuit sandwiches with Beecher cheese. Best buscuit I've had in my life. Great hot chocolate. Amazing pastries. I gots a maple cinnamon Danish. Delish. And when mushroom sandwiches and soup looks really yummy as well.

BAD: My wife mentioned the other day that the pastries were getting smaller. I was doubtful, but went in to see, and found that everything in the case, except for the cookies, had been sized down. Why not just add .10-.25 if costs go up? Making things smaller is a big turn-off, don't they know that? WORSE: An $11 turkey sandwich. Are you kidding? In Portland. Why not just burn down the building and collect the insurance if you want to get out if the business? Why insult everyone? Un-be-lievable....
